Chapter Two

Aenaed set off not knowing what she would find on her way. The air was fresh with the smell of flowers and she felt the sun's rays shining down on her. As she walked through the merry forest she saw a cauldron with fire crackling inside. It was one she had never seen before. It was strange that there was no one around that owned this cauldron. Then she heard a voice that sounded muffled.

"Help please! Someone help," the voice said. The voice sounded very close but there was no one in sight. "Help" the voice said again.

"Where are you?" Aenaed asked.

"I'm stuck on the ground somewhere." Then Aenaed turned around facing the cauldron.

"Can you see me?" Aenaed said. The cauldron spun in a circle.

"Yes," the cauldron answered. "Please help me, I'm stuck."

"How can a cauldron be talking?" Aenaed wondered aloud.

"I'm trying out some new spells and don't know how to take them off." Aenaed and Tydirium

Aenaed sat down against a tree looking at her spells. After she found the spell she wanted she got up and began to cast. There were red and blue crystal shapes from the spell. They spun around the cauldron very fast. Then the cauldron became a person Then the person started screaming and yelling "I am alive, I am alive!" She ran up to Aenaed thanking her over and over.

Aenaed asked "What is your name?"

"My name is Tydirium. What is your name?"

"Aenaed." Tydirium had light blonde hair and light green eyes. Her skin was very pale but her eyes and lips were very noticeable.

"I must be going but thank you again Aenaed," Tydirium yelled as she ran away.

"You're welcome," Aenaed yelled back.

Aenaed was alone again walking through the forest, not knowing if she was going in the right direction. Then she saw that same cauldron she saw before who was Tydirium. But this time there was more than a cauldron but a whole camp.

It had a little house a camp fire and some pots and pans. She thought this must be Tydirium's camp. So she came up and said to the cauldron, "You have a nice camp here. But I just saved you and you turned yourself back into a cauldron!" Aenaed yelled at the cauldron while shaking her finger furiously.

Then a voice said "HEY! What did my cauldron ever do to you?" Aenaed turned around. There was a person who looked very mad.

"OH! Is this your camp?" Aenaed wondered.

"Yes it is. What do you want?"

"I'm sorry I thought this was someone else's camp."

"Whose camp did you think it was?" The person replied.

"I thought it was someone that I met today. You see this caudron, well, the person looked exactly like it but it was a spell. I helped them return to normal view."

"What was their name?" The person asked.

"Tydirium." Aenaed answered.

"Did you say Tydirium?"

"Yes." Aenaed said.

"Well, Tydirium is one of my good friends. I've known her for a long time." From the distance Tydirium was running towards them yelling. Following behind Tydirium was a Sarnak Flunkie. Tydirium was almost dead so Aenaed healed her. The other person began to cast spells on it while his pet attacked. After Tydirium was healed she helped attack while Aenaed medded. One last spell was cast on it and it was killed. Aenaed then healed Tydirium and the other person. Then Tydirium ran up to Aenaed thanking her over and over again. The person asked Tydirium "who is this elf?"

"Her name is Aenaed, and this is Elsek."

"I'm sorry, but I am in a real rush. Do you think that I may have some food?" Aenaed asked.

"Oh yes. Anything to repay you for your kindness," Tydirium said. While Elsek summoned food and water Tydirium asked Aenaed where she was going. She told her story to Tydirium.

"Interesting story. Since you saved my life I will come with you to fight the demon."

"Sure, if you want. It will be very dangerous."

Aenaed and her new friends headed straight away for the swamp of Exiztia.
